Dr. Flanagan holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University and completed his doctoral studies in Curriculum and Instruction at American College of Education. Dr. Flanagan has been an educator for over 12 years. He has significant experience working with students at various grade levels and with diverse needs. He holds educational administrator certifications in both New York and New Jersey. Dr. Flanagan recently worked as a Director of Education for a Nursing School in New York. His ability to collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and state education officials is well demonstrated and still fondly recalled at his previous Catholic elementary school. Dr. Flanagan has been an administrator and principal in Charter and Catholic schools. He has successfully launched a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics labs in three elementary schools, and has worked to improve culture and climate in his previous elementary school with an SEL program (social emotional learning).
