We recognize that in today’s world there are many families in which both parents work. To accommodate your schedule, St. Peter Academy offers before and after care for Pre-K 3 through 8th grade children. The program provides supervised high-quality care in a safe and familiar environment.

Activities include homework and playtime. Parents are expected to provide their children with snacks. 

Please note that the service is not provided on half-days prior to holiday vacations, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Before Care is offered from 7:00 am – 7:45am
After Care is offered from 2:25 pm – 6:00 pm

Rates: Before Care:
             $8 for 1 child
             $ 12 for 2 children
             $ 16 for 3 children
             After Care 
             $10  hour or any part of an hour for 1 child
             $15 hour or any part of an hour for two children
             $20 hour or any part of an hour for 3 children 

Children may study or bring a book to read during Before Care.  For younger students who will use Before Care on a daily basis, please send in some small toys/coloring books, crayons, etc. that can be kept here.   Please put the items in a shoe box, little container, etc. and put your child’s name on it.  This way you are not taking these items back and forth each day.

Dropoff Location for Before Care 
If you intend to utilize the Before-Care Program, you would accompany your child to the Church/School entrance. There is a doorbell at this door.  You would  press the doorbell and the staff member would ask you to sign in your child.

Aftercare may be used on an as-needed basis.  If you know ahead of time that your child will be attending aftercare, you must write a note to your child’s teacher to let her know.  If your plans change during the day, you must call the office BEFORE 2 P.M. to let the office know to send your child to aftercare OR not to send your child to aftercare.
 If you intend to use aftercare at any time, please fill out the aftercare pick-up form so the Aftercare Aide is aware of the person(s) designated to pick up your child.      
If you wish, you may provide a snack for your child.  We just ask that you do not send in any glass bottles or food that contains peanut butter or any kind of nuts. Students are not allowed to share food.

Pick-up Location
All parents or designated persons are to pick up students from aftercare from the PK-3 classroom.  The entrance to this classroom is the blue doorson Fifth Avenue near the flagpole.  You must ring the bell and identify yourself to the aftercare attendant answering the door.
