At St. Peter Academy, every student has the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities that deliver an education beyond the classroom. From sports to clubs, St. Peter Academy can satisfy the interests of every child.
There is something for everyone in our long list of After School Club activities. Past clubs have included Japanese Language and Culture, Robotics, Cooking, Book Buddies, Tennis, Kiddie Soccer, Debate, Chess, Game Show club, Cartooning club, Duct Tape Design, Sewing, Embroidery, Engineering, Cooking and Track. New series of clubs are offered every Fall, Winter, and Spring.
St. Peter Academy proudly participates in the Archdiocesan I-Sing program. The program offers specialized musical training for those involved. SPA has received superior ratings from I-Sing choir judges every year we have performed.
We are pleased to continue our efforts under the leadership of our music director, Mrs. ShariLynn Minetti.
Our students join with parishioner children in exciting boys’ and girls’ basketball. Boys teams are available for boys 5 through 18 and girls teams are available for girls 5 through 13. Our teams are both competitive and instructional and are coached by parent volunteers who participate in the Protecting God’s Children Program. To register your child, please click here.
SPA musical instrument program provides interested students to learn wind and percussion instruments during the school day. Parents who are interested in having their children take instrumental music lessons should contact the school office for further information.
SPA participates in Scholastic Olympics, an annual event for eighth grade Catholic elementary school students from all over New Jersey. Students engage in academic competitions in various subjects, such as math, art, and computers and is held yearly at St. Joseph’s Regional High School.
Upperclassmen are paired with younger students to help guide them in various SPA activities and projects.
