Here at St. Peter, the student council works hand in hand with faculty advisor and sixth, seventh and eighth grade teacher, Mrs. Basler.
Along with the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary, the Student Council is composed of class representatives from grades four through eight.
The Student Council helps our school community develop leadership through organizing and executing school activities and service projects, which in turn builds a cadre of responsible leaders who contribute to school spirit, improve community welfare, and serve as the voice of the student body.
Recent student councils have accomplished significant achievements during their time on board, including raising money for the World Wildlife Fund, the Wounded Warrior Project, and notably, $2,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society dedicated to cancer research. We are proud of our student council and excited year after year at the wonderful and innovative things they can achieve together.
